Please review the 8th Grade discipline procedures and consequences for misbehavior that were sent home with your student and signed in February. It’s important that students understand how their behavior may impact the privilege of attending the end of the year activities.
On Tuesday 5/31, your student will receive a Promotion Preferred Name Request Form. Please fill it out and return it if you wish. We need to receive the form OR an email (to Mrs. McEachern at [email protected]) by Thursday, 6/2 if you wish to make a change.
We will be holding the 8th Grade dance on Friday, 6/3 from 7 to 9 PM. Please see the SignUp Genius for help needed with the dance, organized by SJMS PTA. 8th Grade Festivities SignUp Genius
Tickets and gowns will be handed out to students on 6/7, following the pool party/picnic. Each student will receive 6 tickets. Please stop by the front office and speak directly with Karen Dugdale if you need additional tickets. Families may request up to 4 more.
On the last day of school, 8th graders will be released at approximately 10:15 AM. All other students will be released at 11:55 AM. Promotion is at 2 PM. 8th graders need to return to campus at 1 PM and report to the gym.
Any attendee 18 and under in age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of a promoting 8th grader.
