Parent volunteers are needed to help with the three main celebrations that make this time special for our 8th Grade students: the Dance, the Pool Party and the Promotion Ceremony. Parent volunteers help organize, set up and chaperone each event and make it fun with snacks, decorations and activities.
Traditionally, parents of 7th Grade students serve as chaperones at the 8th Grade Dance (it’s not fun for kids to have their parents there as chaperones), and help decorate for the Promotion Ceremony so parents of 8th Graders can focus on their children.
