Thank You!  Here’s what happened…

Thank you to all who made time to come out to the first PTA meeting of the year.  We were delighted to have roughly 30 parents attend in person and on zoom, the hybrid meeting seemed to work out OK, and we had some great discussion.

PTA Officers introduced themselves and their personal reasons for getting involved.  Principal Mike Casper introduced himself and gave some welcome remarks citing an overall positive feeling during the first week of school.

Minutes from the July meeting were approved with one adjustment: the Auction was listed in the minutes as scheduled for December 4th but the date has been moved to December 10th.

A working draft of the PTA budget was circulated to give attendees a first glance, with the preamble that the PTA leadership team intends to do more work on it and circulate for approval at next meeting.

Most of the proposed PTA Goals were approved, with wording changes requested on two items; those will be reworked and presented at next meeting for approval.  Volunteers stepped forward to join Task Forces for Parent Education, Membership and Business Partnership.
