We’re excited to announce the “Scorpion Success Center!”
SJMS has arranged to offer free teacher-staffed drop-in homework help in the Library every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:45pm to 4pm.
It’s a fact of middle school: Students need a quiet place and time to do their homework with help available. Every student has gaps in their knowledge and needs to ask questions about the new subjects they’re learning. Teachers may not be able to provide the individualized attention your child needs during regular class time. But at the Scorpion Success Center, students learn to co-work on their homework, and teachers can provide on-demand one-on-one help with Math, English Language Arts, Science or other areas.
This is an incredibly valuable resource to help students get the most out of their education. SJMS is committed to keeping this valuable free opportunity available as long as it is used.
